So I penned a brief verse that meant a lot to me during hard times. I just felt like I'd share it.

"In urban decay, I walk through the streets of suicide lane
Worse than today, I lost you to weeks (weaks) I use to find strained
Buildings abandoned in vacance where the shame hits
Feelings stained with the hatred I have planted in placements
It's a darkened place known, where the hardships reign (rain) slow
But it's my home, where I find serenity in the apartments that stay cold
Addicted to the energy that destroys me mentally
And anyone near me fears me plentily
And maybe a higher entity, whether or not heavenly,
Will give me enough love to stop running from my enemy
