    It's a very weak effort in my opinion.. I know I will like at least 4 songs on this album though. My Suffering, Fire, Let Down, and WIC

    just wait till the album comes out before u judge anything.........or when Chester leaks more songs onto DBS's myspace lol

    I was referring to the song being a weak effort not the project..i hope the rest of the album is badass to make up for Crawl Back In and this one

    The problem is, Chester could release a steaming pile of horse shit and you'd still think it was the best thing ever released. I'm not attacking you for this either, it's just you worship him as an artist and are highly inspired by him so you're able to forgive him for any musical shortcomings. That's your prerogative and I don't judge you for it.

    I however, am sick of hearing lyrics like this Chester when he is capable of far better (case in point 'The Little Things Give You Away' and 'Let Down'..both stellar songs that I believe Chester wrote himself). I want to see that quality on every song. Not a song I could write when I was 15.

    I mean, when an image like this comes out:

    You know that maybe, just maybe...Linkin Park needs to drop the angsty crap and improve their image in the music world. :lol:

    It's not the worst I've heard, not the best either. Fire still trumps all. Well maybe not Let Down, provided it didn't change too much.

    wow..i cant believe this album is gettin trashed on here..i hope most of ur opinions would change to somewhat more positive once the album comes out. I find these songs to be good.....for a couple of his bandmates being Julien-K/Orgy..i only root for Chester though.

    This song is okay. The best DBS track released so far. But that isn't saying much...

    you do realize without the guys in Julien-K that these songs probably wouldnt sound as complete as they do. They would probably be acoustic songs. So Julien-K is like the saving grace cuz this album will be really boring if it werent for them. Nothing against acoustic albums thought. I do love a good one :lol:

    Every little thing you said here.. I strongly agree with. I am sorry but the opportunity was missed. This does sound like LP outtakes lol. He has such a talented voice.. and here what I am listening to is the crap that's out now =|. I grow worry of the next LP album >.>. Even though a couple of months ago (after new divide) I had strong faith new album would be the new good album.

    Also.. I kinda feel their guitarist for DBS while he's good.. the structure to his work is simplistic. Nothing really
    is standing out. In the case of linkin park I excuse brad because his guitar work shines with the band, per DBS it just sounds like background noise Chester is singing too lol.

    They write most of the lyrics together. But there are songs which Mike wrote on his own (In Between, Breaking The Habit).
