ok i just got Stolen by Dashboard Confessionals as a MP3 and..all the versions i can find are exactly like it, its a lot slower than the version used in the video? i think its the album version, but any idea why they'd use a faster version in the video?
The album version was originally a slow version. Then in an attempt to achieve more success for the single, I believe they rerecorded it and sped it up for the video when the single was released. Now a year later, for some other profitable reason, the 'Dusk and Summer' album was rereleased with the sped up version (I think, haven't checked it myself) included, as well as Vindicated officially on the tracklist, even though it was on the first release if you rewind from track one. Confusing, I know, but hopefully that helps some.
