Thoughts? Justice did play it live, but we have no proof if it's legit or not. It very well could be, and if it is.. Well I really don't know what to say..

 

I was so giddy when this commercial first came on during SNL. First of all, I am super stoaked for this album. This snippet gives me a retro Daft Punk feel with the bass and guitar, and I love that. Also, I'm praying they play a show or two around my area so that I may be blessed by the kings of electronica, Daft Punk.

 

^Yeah, i'll be going to their show (if there is one), no matter what.

 

With how scarce their shows are and how little information is leaked, it's a once in a lifetime opportunity.

 

Definitely! Going to one of their shows is something I must do at some point in my life.

 

There actually was one. I know that because I made it. But there wasn't much activity going on in that one (it was like a year ago, so we didn't have much news back then).

Anyways, I'm pretty stoked for this album. Can't wait to hear what they've been up to!

Also, Daft Punk posted a couple of tracks on soundcloud earlier, including a full 1:31 version of the song used for the commercial, along with a picture of columbia records producers and two other people that looked suspiciously familiar... Unfortunately, THEY FUCKING DELETED IT! FUCK! Lucky I got in there when I could!

They also 'accidentally' posted two new tracks, "The Game Machine" and "Entering the Battle" from a supposed "T3ON" soundtrack.

Wow, that's crazy. Anyway, really stoked for this album, now all we need is some dates to look foward to.

 

Their management have told various festival promoters that Daft Punk aren't touring in 2013.

 

So apparently there's word going around that the soundcloud account was a fake. I don't know who to trust anymore!

There's only one thing that goes through my mind when I hear about Daft Punk: Dance party. If I don't get my party Im'ma bust some heads.

 

I believe that it was fake. Listening to that long snippet, it was obviously looped and very amateur. As soon as the filter sweeped I called foul. That's a crappy filter sweep if you're trying to fake French House of all things.

Daft Punk are the masters in not leaking their stuff so I'm guessing it's safe to assume that we can only be certain when the music lierally comes from them (from their Facebook f.e.)
