D12 feat. Eminem

Is Eminem a member of D12? I've heard that he is, but when they play the video for My Band, it says D12 feat. Eminem.

I don't know what you're watching, but whenever I see "My Band," it always just says "D12." And that's on both MTV and VH1.

 

I don't think Eminem is part of D12, but he has a large part in the group's entirety.

When D12 first hit the scene with Purple Pills (if I'm not mistaken), they had a "feat. Eminem," but I haven't seen "My Band" on TV yet (due to the fact I barely watch MTV or Fuse), but I don't think Eminem is part of D12, he's just involved a lot, him being the producer and everything (again, if I'm not mistaken).

 

He is. There's 6 members including Eminem. They call them the dirty dozen or "D12" because each member has an alter ego. Eminem's are Slim Shady and Marshall Mathers (or something like that, maybe one of them is Eminem...)

But yes, I am 110% positive he is.

 

I think he's in D12, but i cannot remember what Greek channels have in the "artist" box.

 

Yes he is a member of D12, but Interscope used the "feat. Eminem" first to get people's attention. You don't need that when Eminem is singing "It's my band!"

And Eminem's alter-ago is Slim Shady, Marshall Mathers is his birth name.

 

I know that, but I thought he used Marshall as an alter ego. Sometimes he does.

 

If he's part of the band supposedly then why isn't he going to be on the upcoming D-12 Tour?

I don't think he's apart of D-12, IMO.

 

I think he was busy with his new album if im correct, but im propably not

 

Maybe Em is too busy with other things, like the posibility of making a new Eminem album?

yeah, like david said, eminem is a part of D12... thats what really annoys me. people say theyre fans of D12, but the only person they recognise is eminem.

I saw the video yesterday, it still says 'D12 feat. Eminem'. And it's on MTV. The DJ herself said "Here's D12 featuring Eminem with My Band ..."

 

Well, I guess that shows how much I'm not into Rap anymore .

 

he was a part of D12 when they frist started. they were planning to have 12 members (hence D12/Dirty Dozen) but they couldnt find enough people who were good enough. eminem later went solo or whatever because he got signed by dr. dre. then when he made his own record label he signed D12 not intending to be part of the group but just making guest appearances. so there you have it.

 

Why wouldn't he be in the group when he has posters with them and is on the cd covers and magazine ads? why would he be featured on every d12 song (well 90% of the songs)?
