I like it more than anything else I've heard by them. One I get my laptop back I'll listen to some more.
yeah, expect a more raw sound from these boys. i'm digging manipulator a lot. it's raw, andrew stepped up his game, thomas' singing voice got so much better, and what you notice the most, it's more coherent. the songs flow more and are less sporadic.
I'll probably infuriate a few people by saying this but it actually sounds a bit like Alien Ant Farm to begin with. Yes, I think that's good more than anything.
01 - "Cut Down All The Trees and Name The Streets After Them" 02 - "The Dark Trail" 03 - "Quarter Past" 04 - "Problem!?" 05 - "Semi-Fiction" 06 - "Oh, The Casino!" 07 - "Sledgehammer" 08 - "Seattlantis" 09 - "Ex-Creations" 10 - "Shhh!!! If You're Quiet I'll Show You a Dinosaur" 11 - "Caught Up" 12 - "A Man. A Plan. A Canal. Panama."
I wish I could listen and download some more of their music, but I can't right now. Can't wait to listen.
it's pretty cool. i respect their ability, but i think i had more fun listening to "FCPREMIX" more than anything
This isn't the final mix, is it? It's probably just the crappy MySpace quality. The song itself sounds really good. I finally got to see them in January. I had one hell of a time.
the version on myspace is 96 kbs so quality does suffer. the boys have said they wanted a raw sound and bayles has confirmed that they got what they wanted.
It suits them better, even if that isn't what the cd-quality songs will sound like. From what I can tell their music was probably a little bit too polished before.
I'm actually rather dissappointed by the quality. The song is okay and the singer's voice as definitely improved a lot so I'll just have to see on the album.
