Lamb of God's Guitarist, Mark Morton, released the music video today for his song "Cross Off." "Cross Off" is the first single off of his debut solo album, Anesthetic, and features the vocal talent by the late Chester Bennington. I know y'all gonna call me the party pooper but I really don't get the shots of the microphone. Suer I get it that its supposed to show that Chester is not there, but yeah continously showing that got a bit lame after a while sorta like "we get it can you please stop doing that" Also it makes it feel much more "clickbait-y" in a way like the video was so obviously done after his passing that it almost feels like "quick we need to make the video so we can promote this Chester thing some more" Meh. Still love the song tho.
Man, those performance shots were boring, especially for a song with such heavy and energetic instrumentation
Sorry, but I find the comments very negative here, given that this was Chester’s last recorded performance before his death.
The comments are about the music video, not the song. When the song was released it received high praise from this forum.
