There's usually one or more things a fave band does, whether it be musically or personally, that you don't like. Share some constructive criticsm about some of your favorite bands.

    Linkin Park
-- Too formulaic with their songs, as shown on 'Meteora'.
-- Need to progress with their lyricism, as shown on 'Meteora'.

    Finger Eleven
-- Need a better label. Wind-up is completely misrepresenting the band when it comes to singles like "One Thing" and "Thousand Mile Wish". The band sound nothing like the singles Wind-Up is releasing. Maybe they were better off when they were under-recognized.

    Cold
-- Their older albums aren't nearly as good as 'Year of the Spider'. Both 'Cold' and '13 Ways To Bleed on Stage' were tedious and boring in parts.

    Three Days Grace
-- For the next album, they need to progress lyrically. Try phasing out the anti-parents lyrics.

    Linkin Park
-More complexity in there music style. Some songs are just to simple.
-Need a sound change. It's always the rap verse, rock chorus, rap verse, rap chours, rock bridge, rock chorus fomat. It gets boring.

    Taking Back Sunday
    -More screaming
-At least have one song about something besideds how your girlfriend left you.

    Killswitch Engage
-Need more solos in their songs
-Need to make more songs that can kick your ass yet give you chills (like The End of Heartache)

    Linkin Park
    -Everything you guys said above

    Jane's Addiction
-You need to get back together, DAMNIT! I want the music you guys were bringing in while you were high! The stuff you brought while you were clean was nowhere near as good as Ritual de lo Habitual.

    Linkin Park
-Formulaic, everything that has been said.

    The Mars Volta
-I... umm... damn. Can't really say anything here. Keep up the good work.

    Linkin park: see above comments.

hatebreed: they need to sing, get some back up vocals or something. also, they need to change the sound of their guitare, use some distortion.

    My 2 favorite bands:

    Linkin Park
    -Write longer and better songs.
-Stop taking too long for a new album.
    -See Mark's comments.

    Good Charlotte
-Please go back to the summer of 2000. The music, image, and fanbase was so much better then.
    -Write better songs.
-Please stop being on teenie mags.
-Benji and Joel: stop acting ghetto-ish.
    -Stop whining in your music.
-Please stray from pop songs on your next cd.
    -Evolve as artists.

    ...um, yeah.

    Underoath

So amazing already, I just wish maybe they'd get a little bit harder and stray away from the power/octave chords a little, though. I don't want them to do the same kind of album as TOCS but I love the album to death, so I don't want them to totally change up.

    Norma Jean

Drop the new singer or make him stop the singing...

    From First To Last

Love em, can't even give any critizism.

    Matchbook Romance

More screaming, make his voice a little less nasally, throw in a breakdown or two, and it'd be lkdgljhu awesome.

    The Blood Brothers

Don't raise the pitch on his voice, we all know he can sing higher than most Sopranos.

Uhh, cant think of any more...

But i dont want the next album to be all about the nookie  They should have the heavy-stuff from Chocolate Starfish and the lyrics from RMV but then better. Alot better.

    Linkin Park
Write less generic lyrics on the upcoming album.

    chevelle
    Stop being so perfect.

    breaking benjamin
Make Ladybug your last attempt at a punk song.

    Finger Eleven
Try to liven things up a bit more, the songs get pretty boring after a while.

    Thornley
Stop trying to look like a boy band.

    Nine Inch Nails:
    - I guess in the end, a long period in between albums is a good idea, but atleast release something in between albums if you're going to have a 6 year delay in-between albums (like The Fragile to With Teeth). B-Sides, unreleased songs, voice message on your mobile, whatever. Give us something while we're waiting for an album for that long, man.

    Tool:
    - Break up A Perfect Circle, and focus on Tool, Maynard! You know, when it's all said and done, that your main popularity and status is because of Tool. Stop neglecting, damnit.

    - Stop with the thought music. "Lateralus" was a great album, yeah, but now there are theories of how it makes a story if you re-arrage the track listing. Go back to the "Aenima" days. Please? Tool just isn't Tool if you're trying to be all mellow and calm.

    The Mars Volta:
    - Stop playing all the "important places" like New York & L.A., and play a show in Tennessee (Other than Bonnaroo).

    Linkin Park
Go back to more rock instead of "ghetto metal" as I call it.
Try something besides alienation for lyrics on the upcoming album.

    Green Day
Billie Joe, I know you're more of a rhythm guitarist, and I respect that, but I think you should write some more complex solos,as just the verse/chorus melody on octaves is kind of getting boring. Something like the second half of the solo for Tales of Another Broken Home.

Is Jason White in the band or not?!

    Good Charlotte
    Stop being fucking emo!!!!!
Please, please do not do anything like "I Just Wanna Live" for the rest of your lives. I mean it.

    Franz Ferdinand
    Try playing some heavier stuff.

Technically they started more rap (at least from the tracks that we hear) the whole way through, but whatever.

    NIN
We're damn impatient, give us meat to feed on (metaphorically... or not if you wish) while we wait for the new shit.

Linkin Park - Be cheerful sometime. Write a non-angsty song.

Bad Religion - Return to 1993, and then try it again. Don't sell out this time.

Nickelback - Get some new material, and tell Chad not to be such an arse.
