Anyone else think these two sound eerily similar? Everything about it does now that I think about it. Sorry if this thread has been made before. So, which do you prefer? I'm gonna go with Numb though, even though it's like the same song.
Crawling all the way. There was a time when it wasn't the cliché it is today. I've always seen Numb as a crappier Pushing Me Away. And while the latter is my favorite LP song ever, Numb is played in every damn concert since 2003 just because it was a single. So unfair.
If you were to pick a song off of Meteora that sounds like Crawling, I would say Easier To Run more so than Numb. Either way, I like both songs and won't pick.
You say that as if they both have homies who'd hunt you down and kill you if you voted for one or the other.
While both songs are incredible in their own way, unfortunately you can only choose one. Crawling is the better song particularly since it's a top tenner for me
Crawling, if only because it was the song during which I got to hold onto Chester's hand when they toured here
CRAWLING IN MY SKIIIIN. I find the Numb lyrics cheesy and I prefer Numb/Encore over the original Numb.
Lol I can't pick because each song has a strong meaning to me. Also, I go through phases where one song will mean more at the time, but its like that with all LP songs.
Same here... And I don't think there has to be a voting between every song. Can't you just listen to the music without compare everything? Just can't stand all these polls and stuff anymore... ^^ Sorry for my bad English...
While I cringe whenever I listen to both Crawling and Numb live these days due to their blandness, I can say that I can still listen to Numb from the album the odd time without wanting to cut my ears off. So my vote went to Numb. And Protolepsis, being a competitive swimmer myself, I die of laughter every time I see your sig
Crawling, however I like the sound of the Studio Final 5/7/00 more then the Album version.
