Crawling vs. And One

Ummm have any of you guys noticed, that in LP earlier concerts(dating back when they were called Linkin Park + Xero) That they have played the same songs in basicly the same order up till today. Well Ive noticed that back in eariler concerts they played And One where Crawling is usally played (b4 ITE). So was And One going to be released on HT but the group had a change of mind.... just wondering. Oh and if any1 could please correct me on LP's former names, I read everywhere they were also call Hybrid Theory and Xero.....

originally they were Xero (pronounce zero [like the number]) but after chester joined the band tehy changed their name to hybrid theory. They would have kept this name had it not already been in use by another band. They then changed their name to Linkin Park which has stuck till this day! hope i was some help

LP do have similar set lists but they often do chop and change them about, just to do something different i guess.

i dont think and one was going to be release on linkin parks hybrid theory but i think high voltage was - if iam correct there are some similarities between cure for the itch and high voltage (like they were going to be joined). i think the song was dropped from the final cut just before the album was going to be made.

 

Yeah, cure for the itch, high voltage, step up, its going down all have that same scientist voice.... u know the one im talking about B)

oohh anyone heard the long version of technique thats on HTEP, i only have the short intro version on mp3.

 

There is no long version to it. Also, LP was called Super Xero at a point. I read somewhere that And One was considered for HT, but LP wanted High Voltage. I guess they were both cut

ForfeitTheGame (not trying to advertise here) has some of the concert song lists from '00-'05.

 

Technique has a length of about 45 sec.The long version does not exist.On linkinpark.com the have typed the length of Technique wrongly(3:52).That length is actually of Part Of Me

How could they put And One on Hybrid Theory if the EP was already out?

 

they could put it on hybrid theory cuz maybe most ppl don't have the htep and maybe its a fan favorite and the bands favorite song and they wanted more people to hear it
