Calling stupid to one's opinion is just… stupid. Please make some pause on your photography studies and go learn about how to respect other's opinions. I'm a photography enthusiast too and, again, to me this is just an average picture. Sorry. Has it potential to make the majority get the right vibe that they're wanting to pass? It seems it does. Great. But for some it doesn't. Just accept that as I accept that you like it. But you liking it will not making me like it. I rest my case here.
Because thinking that photo is like some shitty instagram photo is horribly ignorant to the care and skill that went behind the photo! Unless you actually know what you're talking about and are ready to back up with some actual intellect and not "well its my opinion," then you shouldn't make a comment like that. I do respect other people's opinions. There's a reason why you're the only person I've had a problem with out of the many that have commented on here that are not fans of the photo.
How can you not like an album cover featuring kids playing in ocean waves while the sun is setting in the background? That's like thinking puppies aren't cute. Such a hater.
Mike, if you're reading this, could you drop the album on April 7th? That'd be a great birthday present.
I hope LP make more chill and laid back music from here on out. They're in their 40's, they can't be bouncing around screaming like 19 year olds forever.
This is a beautiful cover. In fact its better than the mundane covers for the last three or four albums.
I guess all this fuss is because I voice my opinion with short and assertive sentences. My first language is not English so maybe what's happening here is a cultural divergence on how to "put the things on the table". My opinion has already been given. My apologies to the ones who seem to be offended by that. It was not my intention. The picture is nice by itself. If it was a picture posted by Chester I would totally smash the like button on it because I would assume it is a happy moment with his family and I feel happy with this kinds of moments on every family (not just because it would be Chester's family). But as far as I'm missing something, we don't have proof that this is the case - we have only assumptions that it can be. And now I'm understanding that maybe it's what makes the picture great. You can relate to it and make your ideal assumptions. I just don't like it as an album cover. I was expecting something more… creative than just a random picture that everyone with the minimum photography skills could have the luck to take. It's just that. And I don't want to offend the ones who think this is extremely creative and pure art. It's, again, my opinion… Again, I rest my case here.
