I think they will overshoot what Hybrid Theory was now that they are more well known. So I think they will sel about 10 mil.

I think they will sell more and sell more at a faster pace than Hybrid Theory. This is a tough task, but I think Meteora will accomplish this.

It all depends on how good the singles are... SIB will obviously rock, but if they have a track that In the End did for them their album sales will skyrocket! :p So I will think if SIB is a success 5 million this year at least. If they have another huge hit they could easily gross over 10 million!

with the amount of fans they have impaitently waiting for this album, they'll probably sell 500,000 in the first week.

    Id definatley say 5-10 mil

Well, I'm not too concerned cuz ppl will think it's selling out, but I hope that every copy they sell is to a true fan who loves their music not some head-banging bandwagon 16 year old...yes i know one hehe

i'm gonna say 5M - 10M at the moment. they may need that one mainstream song to get them past 10M, something like In The End.

You guys seem to think that they can't do it without a song that appeals to teenies.

They cant, it doesnt mean we dont like them, but its basically a fact. A lot of album sales of Hybrid Theory came from little teenie boppers buying it because of In The End.

Most nu-metal bands sell around 5-10 million copys of their records, so thats prolly what LP will sell, unless there is another song with the same sound of In The End.

Theyll probably sell the album at a faster rate to begin with...but sells will probably drop off sooner than with HT so it will probably sell about the same amount as HT.... :|

    Actually I'm a teenager, but I am don't consider myself a go-with-the-trends kinda person.
Just to let ya know not every teen is like that! Even though many friends I have are, just don't stereotype us! :p B)

Teenie doesnt mean Teenagers, I myself, and all of the staff, excluding Alex are teenagers.

Teenie is just a shortened version of Teeny Bopper. And in case you didnt know, a Teeny Bopper is someone who likes a band because of their looks, or because liking the band is the "cool" thing to do at that time, in other words, they're not real fans.

I agree there's a lot of those out who want to be cool and popular so they follow the trends.

Sorry if ppl thought i was angry...i know what you mean by TBs though who like them cuz its trendy...but i have always been into bands for the music (i have studied music since I was 7) and i feel that i have a pretty good sense of what's good (although ppl have different tastes) and whats not. Unfortunately, some ppl cannot not use their brains when it comes to music.

Like all the catchy pop stuff. It may be catchy but there isn't that much musicianship or imagination to it...
