Confirmed Dates for Linkin Park's Summer Sonic Japan 2013 Appearance: Tokyo - Aug 10th + Osaka - Aug

    Last month Linkin Park confirmed they would be playing in Japan this coming August for the Summer Sonic 2013 Festival and until now we've not really had an idea of which dates they would be. Well thanks to a supposed poster that made its way online this morning, it looks like we could have our first look at the two day line-up that will span both Tokyo and Osaka. Judging from the poster it seems Linkin Park will be playing in Tokyo, Japan on Saturday August 10th, 2013 and then the following day in Osaka, Japan on Sunday August 11th, 2013. According to the poster Linkin Park will co-headline, with Metallica headlining the festival.

    There is no official announcement online yet from either Summer Sonic or Linkin Park as to whether these dates are accurate but we'll keep you updated if anything gets confirmed. I guess until that happens these dates should be taken as rumor only.

    Update - March 1st, 2013: The dates have been confirmed and all the details can be viewed at the official Summer Sonic 2013 website.

    Looks like a wicked festival, and looks quite legit.

    Kinda like Japans version of a standard reading and Leeds line up (UK)!

    a UK tour wouldn't take them a week with what they normally do, please its been 2 years since a proper tour :(

    Manchester, Birmingham and London. A second London date if they're in demand. Thats the usual thing.
