I thought it was about time to start a topic about this. I go to all kinds of concerts and I want to talk about them in places other than Random Chat. Anyway, this is a place to talk about all of the shows you went to, are going to, or would like to go to. I just came back from the KRZQ Ball 2005, on June 9. My brother and I went. It was his first show. Bands: Slow to Surface I Hate Kate (my favorite ) The Bravery Pepper Gorillaz (kind of...it was a special guest appearance via satalite and there wasnt even a screen so you could see them, so it was jsut like back ground music while they were preparing the next band's stuff. but it was still cool) Hot Hot Heat Social distortion People: there was between 4 and 6 thousand people there Venue: Reno Events Center(new) it was cean, cool, and big. good venalation and little smoke. i love this place. Review: the show was very good. Slow to Surface was a little slow and hard to get into, but they did all right for being an opening. I Hate Kate was amazing. They put on the best shows. If any of you get a chance to see I Hate Kate, even if you dont really like thier music, they are fun and real entertainers. A great show. The Bravery was good. Pepper was all right. i didnt like Hot Hot Heat very much, but that may just be me. Social D puts on a good show, but too loud for the venue. The crowd got so wild. i have huge bruises on my arms and back. I also tweeked my shouldnt, elbo, and wrist because of some of these stupid girsl behind me. but it was all good. over all i would give it a good rating. it was actually better than i expected it to be.
