Well, here is the story, don't know what has happened but all of a sudden my computer is taking for ever to open folders.
We are talking a delay of around 1 minute.
I've got heaps of ram and have experienced this once before but then i don't know why it happened and i don't know what i did to fix it.
Has anyone ever experienced this problem before.
If anyone has any seggestions on whats going on or how to fix it that would be great.

hmmmm could be a virus....some viruses download stuff, which can fill up all your space, and practically crash it ( my bro had the same problem)...get a virus scanner...or get a tech to check it.

It could be just there are like to much stuff in one folder because in my shared folder I had like a thousand songs and it took forever to open so I took some of the songs and put it in a different folder

Thanks guys but it has stopped.
    Don't know how or why,
The best conclusion i can come to is that it was overheating or something.

Just hope it doesn't happen again.

Check the fan and heatsink on your CPU, it might be loose.
CPU Heating up = sloow computer

Make sure both clips are clipped onto the CPU mount. Make sure all fans are in working order.

Actually, you might be in the same boat I'm in. If you have less than 20% of your HDD space free, then your computer will start to slow down, I've learned.

...now where's my 120GB HDD?

another issue would be CPU usage, right?
that would be where ad-ware and spyware would go because that was what I experienced with that

Well. There we go. You're lucky I'm running low on space too, otherwise we'd be still barking up the wrong tree, like some *looks at Melonman64*. :p

I'm getting a 80GB and a 120GB HDD added to my computer. 260GB :chemist:
