Linkin Park's last three albums were very special albums. I enjoyed them a lot, but if you had to make an album to condense the three albums into one, what would your album turn out like? I know a lot of people who are still stuck in the Nu-Metal era and don't want anything else, and I know people who enjoy their newer content more than their old. Mine would be a 14 track album (yours doesn't have to be), that would look like this: Disclaimer: I loved their last three albums. Just because a track didn't make the final cut on this tracklist, doesn't mean I didn't like the track. TRACKLIST 01. Wake 02. I'll Be Gone - Single 03. Given Up 04. Lost In The Echo - Single 05. When They Come For Me 06. Robot Boy 07. In Pieces 08. Waiting For The End - Lead Single 09. Blackout 10. Wretches & Kings 11. What I've Done - Single 12. In My Remains 13. Tinfoil 14. Powerless
Tracklist: 1. Wake 2. Burn it Down 3. Lost in the Echo - Lead Single 4. Burning in the Skies 5. Until it Breaks 6. Shadow of the Day 7. Castle of Glass - Single 8. Hands Held High 9. In My Remains 10. No More Sorrow 11. What I've Done - Single 12. Roads Untraveled 13. The Catalyst 14. In Pieces 15. The Little Things Give You Away - Single (Deluxe Version: Bonus Tracks) 16. In Between 17. Tinfoil/Powerless (Combined Track) I know it's a long album but I wanted the songs to fit and flow smoothly. Added up the album would be around 67 minutes long. I would call the album: Sparks
Imo, I think the rule should be that the album has to come in at under 80 minutes, otherwise you'd have to make it a double-disc and that would be cheating. And here's my playlist: 1. ATS: the full experience. Hahahaha Hahahahahahahaha! Aaaaaaaahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!! Haaaaaaaahaaaaaaaahaaaaaaaahaaaaaaaahaaaaaaaahaaaaaaaahaaaaaaaahaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!
ATS fankids are turning into the nu metal people I swear. Y'all criticize them for loving one sound, and then turn around and do the EXACT SAME THING for ATS. You guys are hypocrites and it's ridiculous. I think you should at least respect and enjoy all elements of LP because all those elements ARE Lp!!!! Geez
He said most people are stuck in the "Nu-Metal era." Which is very true cause you see people cry about "This isn't like HT." "HT was better." But he never criticized and said he didn't like HT and Meteora. He said he likes newer better. And for me? I like every album. Read what he says first, don't go hatin immediately.
I''ve been saying this since Living Things was released and condemned on this forum as a "step back" from A Thousand Suns. At least the nu-metal fans have mostly accepted the fact that Linkin Park has moved on from their original sound and created music that is subjectively better for certain individuals. ATS fanboys/girls on the other hand defend their precious album with complete ignorance for anything else. Talk about hypocrites. Is A Thousand Suns Linkin Park's best album? I would definitely say so. Is it perfection that has descended from the heavens that this forum claims it to be? Hell no. Back on topic, my album would looks something like this: 01. Announcement Service Public 02. Across the Line 03. Lost in the Echo 04. Waiting for the End 05. Blackout 06. Castle of Glass 07. Victimized 08. In Pieces 09. Fallout 10. The Catalyst 11. No More Sorrow 12. The Little Things Give You Away
I am confused by your outburst. No one prior to you was criticising them on anything. @Faint: oh I didn't think of including LPU songs.
Yeah I know. I'm just tired of people being ATS this, ATS that. It isn't you guys. Its lots of people
The fun thing about this thread is i'm looking to see what kind of album people come with. Would it still be soft? Or insanely heavy? Or a mix of both as the past three albums were. Let's see what would happen if I made a heavier version instead of the one I started the thread with: TRACKLIST: 01. Wake 02. Given Up - Single 03. Lies Greed Misery 04. Bleed It Out - Lead Single 05. Lost In The Echo - Single 06. Wretches & Kings 07. No More Sorrow 08. Blackout 09. Victimized 10. In Pieces - Single 11. Until It Breaks 12. The Little Things Give You Away Now while I think this is a cool little collection of songs, coming in as the third album it looks too generic and predictable (following the trends of HT/M). With this tracklist though, there are seven songs with screaming vocals, and five songs with rapping vocals. It seems too bleh for me although Until It Breaks being there would be a funny change of pace. A softer version of the album would be TRACKLIST: 01. Wake 02. Leave Out All The Rest 03. Shadow Of The Day - Single 04. In Between 05. Castle Of Glass - Single 06. Roads Untraveled 07. Robot Boy 08. Burning In The Skies - Single 09. I'll Be Gone 10. In Between 11. Tinfoil 12. Powerless - Single (Less predictable, but uh... people would think Mike used up too much energy in Fort Minor).
01 The Requiem 02 In My Remains 03 Burning In The Skies 04 Bleed It Out 05 What I've Done 06 When They Come For Me 07 Castle Of Glass 09 Victimized 10 Wretches And Kings 11 Valentine's Day 12 In Pieces 13 Powerless
Here's mine: 1. The Requiem 2. Wretches & Kings 3. In My Remains - Single 4. What I've Done 5. Tinfoil 6. Powerless - Single 7. Waiting for the End - Single 8. I'll Be Gone - Lead Single 9. Valentine's Day - Single 10. When They Come for Me 11. Victimized 12. In Pieces - Single 13. Roads Untraveled Bonus track: 14. Blackbirds If I had to name the album I'd call it Minutes to A Thousand Living Things: The Full Experience
1. Wake 2. Given Up 3. I'll Be Gone 4. No More Sorrow 5. Waiting for the End 6. Fallout/The Catalyst 7. Castle of Glass 8. Burning in the Skies 9. Burn it Down 10. Wretches & Kings 11. When They Come for Me 12. Until it Breaks 13. Tinfoil/Powerless 14. The Little Things Give You Away
1. The Requiem 2. Iridescent - fifth single 3. Shadow of the Day - fourh single 4. Powerless 5. Castle of Glass - second single 6. Rolling in the Deep 7. Burning in the Skies - lead single 8. The Little Things Give You Away 9. Roads Untraveled 10. Fallout/The Catalyst - third single And I'd make them transit into each other.
Okay, I think this is the one I'd go with. 001. LOST IN THE ECHO, from LIVING THINGS 002. UNTIL IT BREAKS, from LIVING THINGS 003. Burning in the Skies, from A Thousand Suns 004. Shadow of the Day, from Minutes to Midnight 005. CASTLE OF GLASS, from LIVING THINGS 006. Leave Out All The Rest, from Minutes to Midnight 007. POWERLESS, from LIVING THINGS 008. The Little Things Give You Away, from Minutes to Midnight 009. Jornada del Muerto, from A Thousand Suns 010. The Catalyst, from A Thousand Suns Minutes to Midnight (2007): Shadow of the Day, Leave Out All The Rest, The Little Things Give You Away. [3] A Thousand Suns (2010): Burning in the Skies, Jornada del Muerto, The Catalyst. [3]. LIVING THINGS (2012): LOST IN THE ECHO, UNTIL IT BREAKS, CASTLE OF GLASS, POWERLESS. [4].
I would make them flow together (like the transition between Until it Breaks and Tinfoil flow and it doesn't chop) but my editing program which I only had the demo for ran out and I'm not buying it cause I rarely use it.
