Coldplay's 'X&Y' Premieres!

Don't know how many fans we have here, but this would officially be your first chance to hear the album. I'm hopeful that this will be the best album of 2005, at least in my eyes (or ears).

Twisted Logic

All I can say is it was incredible. It's very different from Rush, much more cinematic, sweeping background layers that climb up till the chorus reprise.

Everyday i wake up hoping that the album has leaked. I just can't wait anymore!

i think everyone in LPA likes coldplay at least a little bit. i'm a huge coldplay fan, and all i have are the live versions :angry: which really suck cuz they're all poor quality. but i already know that square one kicks ass. and so does a message.

 

Its leaking soon , like really soon.

 

june 1st, the latest. that's when some euro country gets it, i don't remember which one but anyway, i've waited long enough. i can wait a week longer.

X&Y is soooooo gonna be 2005's saviour in the industry. it's true that NIN and SOAD have skill, but it just hasn't been enough to satisfy me yet. coldplay's gonna give us something tangible in a year where there hasn't been much.

EDIT: Uncle Raj? you're from the coldplaying MB, aren't you?

 

Yeah, I know someone who'll have it in another hour or so. Plus, I got 192kbps rips from the webcast

Still, I'll purchase the album June 7th.

Also, I made a mistake on the first post. The last song on the webcast wasn't Twisted Logic, it's Low, and it was so good I mistook it for the album's closer.

EDIT: speaking of Coldplaying, I'll be doing graphical work for them in the coming months. I'll try to get Ian to remake the design if I can. Great site!

How's the album though guys? I'm only listening to six songs until I pick up my cd. I don't want the whole thing ruined for me. Speaking of which, I believe there's copy-right protection on it... :wth:

 

It's amazing. I think it's probably the best album put out by Coldplay.
