No. That is not true. Cingular is not making a phone that is compatible with iTunes. In fact, Cingular does not make phones. However, it is true that Motorola is making a phone that is compatible with iTunes and offered exclusivley by Cingular. And I've also heard that this Motorola phone is a piece of crap, which means it should fit in well with Cingular's crappy service.

You pwn, Todd. [/b][/quote] Haha, seriously. Cinguar blows. I live in the middle of a giant fucking city and still am lucky to get service. 1 and a half years of the contract left though, damn

Stop bragging My sister has T-Mobile and loves it. I'll highly consider myself when I'm free to switch.
yes, if you go to apple.com they have a link to the phone. it's supposed to be really good. i don't know. i want one.
I've read reviews on the phone, and I can paraphrase all reviews in 2 words: "It sucks." They say the interface is buggy, sound quality is below par, the phone is slow, it's only USB 1.1 so it takes ages to sync music. Maybe the phone will improve in future models, however, it seems the best bet is to keep your current phone and buy one of the iPods. It seems obvious that this phone was mostly Motorola's doing, as if it was Apple's own phone, I don't think it would be this crappy. Personally, I would have loved to see Apple team up with Sony. The best cell phone I've owned was a Sony Ericson T616. Sadly, I had to give that up when I switched to Cingular and got a Motorola V551. Decent phone, crap service. Anyways, the Sony was by far the best phone. However, Apple will never team up with Sony, as they're huge competitors in the portable MP3 player and computer market. But the best option IMO? Screw Motorola, screw Sony, screw Nokia, screw all cell phone manufacturers. Apple should make their own phone from the ground up. That phone would most likley be awesome. Apple knows what they're doing when it comes to portable players.
most people say that it is a waste of technology since some phones can already do that but it is a necessary waste of technology if you ask me.
*off topic* Over here, Cingular is pretty much kick ass... *on topic* Wow.... Is this really going to happen?
Is what going to happen? The phone happened. It's out. You can walk into your Cingular store and by that piece of junk already.

Now what he's refering to is beyond me, but I wouldn't put it past Jobs to take his hand at mobile phones. Possibly cameras, video records, TV's, whatever. They keep everything undercover for a long time. Only a handful of people knew about iPod nano up until it's debut.
Yeah, i lose service as soon as i start coming home. It doesnt work in my house, and the only way i can talk on it here is if i have my headset in. But we get a very good deal right now. Even thought the Cingular people are a bunch of fucking idiots! argh, i have some horror stories about them.... I've also played with that Moterola, i really don't like it. I used to love Moto phones, but now, i'm very dissapointed. I do like my LG. Although, there hasn't been a phone that I really like out in a long time. I am looking for a good camera phone though....
