"Cinderella" and "Everything You Ever Wanted"

Yeah Casey already knows this used to be a whole song but since I can do whatever I want, I've taken parts of one whole song I wrote and changed it into two poems. I also rewrote some parts. Boom.

When you were a maiden in distress,
And your prince charming waiting for,
That kiss to return your final breath,
Could I be your Clark Kent,
And you my Lois Lane?
Cause lately I've been feeling bent,
On how the air doesnt feel the same,
Cause I could be the prince,
And you my mermaid for the moment,
I want to give you the chance,
To have everything you ever wanted.

Left with a glass slipper and a glimmer of hope,
I search desperately for a way to see you again,
Underneath city lights that flicker to my heart's content,

Dreaming of your eyes that can mend my broken smile,
Lets write the happy ending where you and I will never fail,
Cause you remind me of a girl that belongs in a Disney fairytale.

I cant explain how I felt when you locked your eyes with mine,
My mind became speechless and our hearts were intertwined,
I want to be your dream, the man who sweeps you off your feet,
I can feel my heart thumping, getting closer to you with every beat...

Could I be in love?
