I know I'm early to be thinking of this - but I'm excited, what can I say? =P Anyway, the Advent season is almost here - what are you all planning to get...to recieve...to give? Is christmas a hectic time where you can have two minutes sat down with the chestnuts roasting on an open fire? or do you just take it all in your stride and run yourself like a machine? I love christmas, it's a great time for family and friends alike. I'm not too bothered about presents, it's just that I'm buying a lot of people a lot of presents this year - so I'll feel good that I've done my part . I could actually be at Jon's house or maybe in Wales (oh lord...) this year...I definately know I'm in Wales for the new year (shoot me...) But yeah...I like to kick back and relax a lot - it's a great time for looking back on the year gone by and everything like that...I guess I'm just a sap when it comes to warm, fluffy, cuddly things >_>'
Christmas is my favorite holiday. It's basically the only time of the year when my family is nice to each other and can get along. That's mainly the reason why I love it so much. Also, I love singing Christmas songs. I have spent $185 on presents for people, so far. It's the most I have ever spent, but it's worth it. I'm not expecting much gifts this year because I can not even think of anything I really want, but I am sure I'll think of something.
I want money, like, $300 worth of the green. Me and my friend are planning on going to the LP concert in Toronto on Jan 24th. It'll cost about $250 for round-trip plane tickets (unless dad gives me his air miles) and around $75 for tickets. I'd have $750 in my bank account by Christmas if I got all the cash I wanted. So I'd pay for it all and still have $375 left.
Christmas goes way to fast for my liking...I'm so busy with school, then there's work over the X-mas holidays, then there's getting ready to receive our family at Christmas, then there's more work....Its pretty busy, but its all worth it because theres an atmosphere that isn't there in any other time of the year, just an awesome feeling! I'm looking forward to it!
For Christmas I want a lot of stuff. A heap of Cds and a lot of new clothes (black ones of course). It will be awesome. I don't like Christmas that much. People eat too much and they get fat! And the only good thing is the presents
Christmas blows. The snow pisses me off. Everybody running around buying presents. The radio station playing the "There is only 5 weeks left till Christmas! Only 5 weeks left to shop!" Not a whole frigging month. I don't even want any presents. Maybe a few Cd's, but I don't need people to buy me those.
I don't celebrate Xmas.... And if you work in retailing, you have to hate the holdays....tomorrow will be a female dog over at Target
I like X-mas . A nice break from the usual way of life . It's relaxing... Makes you ALMOST like snow (when you have snow 6 months a year you start to hate this)... And you get gifts .
I love Christmas!! Actually, I like my birthday because it's the day before... It's gonna be great this year because for once I won't have to worry about homework, just wait for the new semester to start. I like doing all of the fun family stuff and shopping and such. It's great. And for snow, well, it doesn't snow here and I'm sure glad it doesn't (what a pain... it's all cold and blah.)
Well, i usually don't buy presents for others on Christmas, it's more of a parent-to-child present thing in Greece. Anyways, i still have lotsa bucks from my trip to Canada, so i guess a DVD player is OK. If i'm in the mood, i may even get a bass or something cheaper, digital camera-like. DECEMBER ROCKS.
