Hm. I've been getting into Christian rock heavily lately, and I wanted to see what all Christian rock bands/artists you all listen to. So, list away. Don't listen to any. But, um, since when was Chevelle christain? I never knew that? I mean, Send the Pain Below sounds like he's singing about getting kicked in the nuts or something
Chevelle is kind of like P.O.D. — they're a Christian band that doesn't want to be labeled as a Christian band (but remember that P.O.D. isn't exactly Christian — they're Rastafarian). But Chevelle is featured on every Christian rock site that I go to. So, basically, they're Christian.

So nowadays, what are the requirements for being labled a Christain band then? [/b][/quote] I'm not really sure. But a lot of Christian bands (like P.O.D. and Chevelle) don't want to be labeled as Christian bands because they don't want it to seem like they're going out there preaching to everyone, if you know what I mean. It's mostly the lesser-known bands that are all for being recognized as Christian, whereas it's the more mainstream bands who are more reluctant to be seen as Christian. At least that's how I see it. (And, by the way, "Send The Pain Below" is about giving his pain to someone else because he doesn't want it anymore, basically.)

i used to be majorly into lifehouse....i even met them when i went to a show in manchester sept 2003. Great band, really talented down to earth guys. And most of their fans arent actually Christian....i guess you can interpret their songs individually but yeh they are considered a Christian band. 'Everything' is one of my faves....and of course the infamous 'Hanging By A Moment'
I guess I'm not a fan of Christian Rock. Only band that I see there that I listen to is Lifehouse. And I really just like about one or two songs by them.
