Apparently he's also working with Ryan Tedder (OneRepublic), Trevor McNevan (Thousand Foot Krutch), and Emerson Hart (Tonic). Damn, it's shaping up to be an all-star record. Let's just hope it produces great music, because I love the first album. Alot better than it should've been, that's for sure.
in retrospect to my awesome comment.... not sure how the album will be, I mean I like Daughtry, but I was thinking guest vocals not just written with them.... it could go either way I guess, but i'm leaning more towards "awesome"
I'm not sure what I think of Daughtry, really. I haven't listened to their first album, but the couple of songs I heard weren't all bad. I'll definitely check this one out, though.
Actually, I think this album is supposed to be going in a more of a harder direction than his first album. Either way, I'm looking forward to it.
With a composing line-up like that, I guess I'll have to check it out... but it sounds like he just wanted to collect a bunch of singers that make music just like his... so I don't know how different this will sound from earlier Daughtry material.
Haha, I realize that. I was inferring, and I didn't explicitly state, that I can't stand Daughtry's earlier material. I guess I should have made that clear
The debut sold more than 4,324,000 copies... too bad you can't stand it - you could have been one of the cool people
wut Anyway, i hated Daughtry's singles so I'm not looking forward to the album. I don't like any of the co-writers either. So i guess this post is really pointless. err...
