Chester recently spoke to Billboard.com concerning the fourth studio album, citing that it won't be as long of a turnaround process as Minutes To Midnight was.

"We sparked a new kind of life into what we do during the writing of ['Midnight']," Bennington tells Billboard.com. "We want to keep that going. I think we're in the mode, and I have a good feeling we're going to put another record out really quickly."

Chester then then goes on to say what fans can expect from the US tour commencing on the 12th February, in terms of stage design & performance elements.

"We're going to add some different production elements," he confirms. "We're working with some artists to develop some really cool video content -- the same ideas and elements from Projekt Revolution and kind of evolving those into a little bit bigger of a stage show."

For the full interview check out Billboard.com.

Thanks to Shadey for the heads up!

I really hope the new album has more rapping and is more epic that MTM. Don't get me wrong, MTM was a class album, but LP have the potential to take this new sound to great heights.

I've said it before and I'll say it again; MTM was LP's transistional album and I think the next one could be magnificant.

Sorry, feel free to change it to North American Tour. Just thought I'd generalize for the sake of the title & post.

    No No!

My bad. Let me clarify. I quoted U.S. because they skipped Philadelphia for their U.S. tour, which I am still quite pissed about because them doing that means I can't see them. I don't even know how they can call it a U.S. tour when they are skipping a major city in the U.S. It doesn't make sense to me.

    Sorry man!

Well you should listen to some of the complaints we got here in the UK. They called it a UK tour and yet only visited England and completely left out Ireland.

Oh well. *listens to downloaded audio package from London show*

By he way, is it a US only tour? Nothing about Canada?

Correction, I think you meant the "US with the exception of many big states tour".

    :p

*EDIT* Aha, I see you have clarified already :p

It reminds me of how Taste of Chaos isn't hitting Cleveland for the second year in a row.

I don't see how the city with the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame can be skipped.

this is really exciting news! and i just can't believe that i got front row tickets to there concert in omaha, NE. i think its the first time they've come to my city! i'm so pumped and hope that their concerts are worth while. because i have been acting stoked like no other. can anybody tell me how good their new concerts are? and i can't wait for their new cd. MtM was a transitional cd. (like we all know) i really think their next cd will be amazing a blow everybody away. i mean, look at No Roads Left, i think that is the most driven, passionate song they have ever wrote.
