He did not said anything about shows being cancelled, i guess the he tried to say that he hopes that they dont play full sets or chester will sing out of tone because of his pain lol

Yeah I heard about this, what a legend. I missed out on this awesome show by one day; oh well the day before was just as awesome even if chester didn't throw a truly amazingly inspiring performance.

    Exactly, what the fuck?

That's pretty awesome for Chester to continue like that. I've had a broken wrist before aswell, in fact it was pretty similar in that I fell backwards straight on to it (albeit I was catapulted like 6 feet off a see-saw lol) and I know how excrutiatingly painful it was for him so well done Chester. :)

    No one says that.

Although the trend in this thread seems anti-VR, I will counter that by saying Scott Weiland is one of my personal, non-denomonational deities and anything he lends his voice to ends up quality.

And I saw Linkin Park at Livid a few years back. I mean fair fucks to Chester for trying to have stage presence, but he looks like a total bellend at times, as if he's trying too hard to 'rock out'. Chill out mate, preserve your voice and your body so you can still walk and sing when you're older.

    My 2 cents anyway.

If you look at the music, id say that VR is more rock and roll than LP :p

Why the fuck is everybody talking about Velvet Revolver? :p

Anyway, that's pretty insane. I was wondering when he would F' up one of those jumps. It was bound to happen eventually.

Talked to somebody who went to the Adelaide show the next night, and indeed, they're still playing SOTD but without Chester on guitar for the time being.

See this is why I wanted Mark to post this story, I would've been all like "OMFG POOR CHESTAH!!1!1!!", but Mark writes it like he's reporting for a major rock publication.

Mark, you rock at posting news. Gimme your writing skills.

I couldn't believe this when I heard about it earlier today!
What a man, after what he'd been through he still stuck with everyone till the bitter end.

    Chester, you are a legend!
    Get better soon!

Like what someone on the lpmb said, we should get him one of those Stephen Colbert wriststrong bracelets. We must "pass it down the celebrity foodchain to someone more famous than we are." :D

Another thing, it was Van Halen during the Rock 'N Roll Hall of Fame induction who said Velvet Revolver were the last great rock band. Velvet Revolver were presenting Van Halen, so don't get that confused. lol.
