AZCentral reports that Linkin Park band member Chester Bennington will be co-chairing a fundraiser called "Stars of the Season", a yearly event which benefits the recently-built Cardon Children's Medical Center. Other co-chairs include Bennington's wife Talinda Bennington, and local pediatrician David Curran. The event will happen on October 25 at the Omni Scottsdale Resort and Spa at Montelucia in Paradise Valley, Arizona. Last year's "Stars of the Season" featured an "intimate performance" by Stone Temple Pilots and Chester Bennington as part of the evening's entertainment, but no indication has been given as to whether or not Bennington will be giving a performance at the 2014 fundraiser. About being involved in the annual benefit, Bennington has said: Source: AZCentral
Thanks for getting rid of "June Re-Release of Hybrid Theory on Vinyl" as the top post on LPA's Homepage

Music aside, I am proud to support these guys for the amount of effort they put into charities and fundraising events. Unlike most artists, they genuinely care and want to make a difference with the power that they have! #proud.oner
Hahah it actually feels like it's been ages, man! The band is doing a great job with the donations and fundraising nonetheless
One of my favorite news stories of last year was covering last year's Stars of the Seasons event. Such a great thing to see.
