This song deserve its own topic since it's for me it's the biggest surprise of this album, it's a great song, great feeling, I love the lyrics too What do you people think of this song ?
It just started on shuffle actually... I was worried with the folk music but Linkin Park managed to make folk sound Linkin Parkish and I'm in love with the song.
Best song on the album in my opinion. very beautifully crafted, and the lyrics are amazing. My 2nd favorite LP song already
Pleasantly surprised by the song. When I was listening to the iTunes stream I felt like the album was going to be full of decent mid-tempo songs. Then Castle of Glass slapped me in the face.
I was disappointed when Chester said the song was "too folk" (or something like that) so they made it more rock, but damn, I wouldn't change it. The build, lyrics, and of course Mike's epic voice are amazing. Although I would still love to hear a straight-up folk song.
CASTLE OF GLASS is the song i wanna hear the most! I've listened to BID, LGM and LITE, not gonna listen to more songs till the 25th!
My fav song from the album... Really beautiful music and lyrics.. And Mike's low range singing sounds superb along with Chester's harmonising..
Its like a new Breaking the Habit musically wise, but the overall sound and theme is so much different, can't explain it. But it's a great song, and will probably end up as a single!
I love it. Probably my favourite song ever. (Yes, I find it that good) This is probably the song I was least looking forward to with Chester saying that it was "too folk", considering I'm not a fan of folk, but I was blown away with this song, as well as "Skin To Bone"
Mike really stepped up his game on this album and "Castle of Glass" proves it. The band is trying to force him to sing live. Anyway the song is amazing. Mike sings lead almost the entire way through, Chester harmonizes and sings the very short bridge.
Somehow, I'd forgotten about the supposed folk influences on this album xD I'm generally a fan of folk, maybe that's why this is quickly becoming one of my favourite LP tracks.
No offence, but why don't you just wait until you hear the songs instead of asking questions. Then you will get blown away even more.
