I used a vocal remover on Castle of Glass(sounded shit) but you could hear the horns REALLY well on it.

Pretty sure none of the strings on Castle of Glass (or I'll Be Gone, for that matter) are live instruments, they just wanted to make note of who composed them, particularly because they were done by different people on different tracks (Mike and Owen Pallett). When they've used live strings in the past, the individual musicians were all credited in the album booklet, but that's not the case this time around. And you're kidding yourself if you think Mike knows how to play brass instruments well enough to record them for an album. I really doubt the guy's ever even picked up a trumpet.
