    with such a dramatic debut as "hybrid theory" the"linkins" managed the impossible by equalling if not bettering their achievement with the release of "meteora" {excluding "reanimation" due 2 it bieng a remix album} will they manage 2 yet again surpass themselves when they go back in2 the studio n record their next album!!!!!! :phoenix: :mike: :chemist: :joe: :brad: :rob:

    'Hybrid Theory' was the best album I've ever heard.

    'Meteora' is a bland, watered-down, terribly written, over-produced, wannabe-'Hybrid Theory' that has disappointed millions of fans.

    Will they surpass 'Meteora'? Most likely. I don't think it could get any much worse and the band should notice how the success of the album is down (only half the number of albums sold in US than what HT did), and how disappointed the fans were. They'll get a new producer (hopefully), start experimenting more and do better.

    And what the hell is the "linkins"? Call them "Linkin Park", call them "the band", call them "LP"; but for the sake of all that is intelligent, don't call them the "linkins". ugh. And calm with the smilies! Go read the rules. And post coherent posts! Last chance.

    Calm yourself, Kevin.

    I agree. Maybe I like Meteora more than Mark, but Hybrid Theory is way more harder, heavier and best written than Meteora.

    And of course they have noticed that, and I hope the new stuff is better.

    firstly i apologise 4 using abbre when refering 2 "the band" and although i agree with hybrid theory bieng a strong album i feel that meteora isnt a watered down dissappointment just a more maturer album with a new depth 2 the songwriting,p.s at 33yrs old its kinda nice bieng told my views r "teenie" {xxx thanx ur comment was better than these anti aging tonics any day} :hugz:

    I agree that Meteora wasn't as good as HT, but then again, I think BTH is one of their best songs and it's off Meteora ;)

    I'm hoping their 3rd album will have things like BTH yet also contain traces of HTEP coz that's something I haven't had enough of!

    I doubt they'd surpass HT though.

    Shift + letter = capital letter
    Punctuation = your friend
    Proper grammar = difference between life and death

    All that and a bag of chips is pretty much all you need to know about typing.

    from xero to now , It went down, xero demo tape , was awesome great rapping great guitar great screaming. htep: the same only different lyric style ,and what less skilled rapping , ht was almost the same as ep only more rock then rap the ep but still great , meteora was not that rap or heavy rock their were more melodics songs more poppy in my opinion , Hopefully mike pick u his xero rapping en they will do songs like that but not only "mc"lyrics" and some new stuff experimental like bth

    lets just hope so hey? we say what we like but at the end of the day its the band which will produce the goods. when they released meteora they said it was a selection of songs on how they felt at the time they wrote them. we dont know how LP are feeling now so lets just wait and see!

    lets hope they are feeling good though because i want good music ^_^
