well, this actually happened to me today. wonderful cloudy day and my dad took me to the sea shore. i would have taken pictures and shown you guys what i actually mean by this poem, but i hadn't carried my camera. keeping the view vividly in mind, i wrote this short poem..enjoy! <div align=center>By the SeaSide. As I stand by the crowded shore, my eyes shut, my hair wild with glee, I sense this taste of liberty that forces my mind to feel at ease, The green sea calls upon me as does the warm rays of the setting sun, And as if I feel undone, I let myself be surrendered. The violent breeze, brings in the smell of the deep sea coral reefs, And the sand that I know stand upon, whirls around in the wind, The sky on one side was blue as ever and on the other, was it gold, And it told, a story of the seaward shore that lasts for a century more. I spread my wings like an untamed falcon, giving myself up, I feel the warmth of a sorcerer’s dragon, that burns the resting sun, I feel alone for miles on end, with nothing to hold responsible, I feel this sudden urge to fly, to the sky’s very end. </div> please tell me what you think!! ho hum..
i think this is really good. have you written any short stories? if not then i think you could do so and really well too!
