BURN IT DOWN Puzzle - Ongoing Progress (Full Puzzle Complete)

We actually need evidence of why it's called Living Things; Official sources, and the digit coding.

 

6,000th post in this thread. man that's crazy, and we still haven't solved it

 

Just a thought, I'm trying out some other operations besides subtraction to try and solve this. I'm using information from http://moonatnoon.com/puzzles/reference/a1b2z26.html and here http://www.cleavebooks.co.uk/scol/calnumba.htm. Just one option some of us could tinker with while we wait.

 

Unless I wake up in a much more motivated mood tomorrow, I'm not doing anything else until LP comments on our progress with Living Things. But I appreciate the extra effort of your tinkering.

 

I was talking with Phoenix for 15 minutes and with Mark Fiore for 35 Minutes, i'm realible too ?

What if the album name WAS supposed to be Living Things, but after they read all the shit we've said about how it would suck, they decided to change it, hense why we're having to wait...lmao

Now what about the posibility of them going in and changing the coding for the terminal, essentially rewriting it to allow another command and/ or action, once we have it completely figured out? If this has been brought up already, I apologize. I check several pages and didn't see it so I thought it might be worth mentioning.

 

That's fine, it isn't required that everyone of us works at the same time. But I just want to steer this thread into discussion about solving this puzzle for the people, like me, who are still trying stuff.

I did base36 conversions and didn't get anything conclusive. Your hopes of finding it in this thread have probably diminished but I'll try uploading newer stuff in the morning for you.

Do try the other base conversions though. Might get something.

 

I´m from Brazil and I don´t think it´s a legit site!!! I´m here since 2007 and everytime some bullshit came from Brazil you put us all in the same box!!!

Does anyone have any ideas as to what the actual Burn It Down puzzle is for? I understand that "Living Things" was derived from the 5. 4 coding, but I'm still trying to figure out what the purpose of solving each piece of the puzzle is.
I mean, shouldn't there be something more significant than just the codes? Especially since all previous puzzles are locked. What's in store for the people who did/did not complete them all...? Any guesses?

 

Has anyone predicted that square 8 will be the last one to solve? It looks like it is going to be just a white box with those lines. If no one has yet I would like to place all my chips on this bet. Although some of them may just be coloured in shirt buttons.
