Dude if I was you, I'd just leave it, its not worth getting a headache over. If snippets are found, then they'll be all over Youtube in a matter of mins. No loss. Just have to wait 40 mins before the next puzzle is unlocked for me XD eeeeekkkkK!!!

They're just making sure everyone knows about the second puzzle (which most of us already knew about and solved). We aren't missing anything.

If it were that, then why is it worded the way it is?

They say "There's more to do". Period. Nothing implying the above.

We know LP keeps a watchful eye on their fans. The question remains is who it's directed to; the people who haven't seen the second puzzle, or the people who have already solved it. It could go either way.

...no. "there's more to do" as in, there's a second puzzle to do. you're wayyy over-thinking it. these puzzles aren't like the ATS puzzles, these are very controlled and more simple. I appreciate your enthusiasm though.

same here, don't know what to do
    i just leave it
but if you try the puzzle cheat instead of solving by yourself, then "skip signup" and "continue", the other one is not grey, but if click the little square, they will not move.

Yeah, I have that problem as well. I'm just going to leave it and wait for someone to post snippets.

Ignore the PST thing (EVERYONE), just contrast your local time with the time on the clock on the upper right screen in LP.com. If I'm right (see this post), we might be getting another puzzle in about 8 minutes.

EDIT: Xero21 says that probably the clock on LP.com mistakenly puts "PST" while it's actually trying to tell you the hour in your local time, and that compliments my post from a few pages back.

    :O I think I might have made a discovery!

If you cheat on a certain puzzle by using the terminal. The picture will go grey when the the next puzzle is released. Meaning that you can't move that piece of the artwork around, which would tie into Minus' theory of how, at the end of the puzzles, the artwork becomes like a jigsaw that has to be fitted together.

Just a thought, probably not true but thought I'd throw my two cents in there...

Do the completed quadrants actually look different depending on whether you use the password or do it manually?

There's no jigsaw, that's the single cover and that's all there is to it.

so your thinking is that, if you cheat, you're punished for it?

that would be interesting. it could explain why Mike retweeted LPA when they described how to cheat. but it also wouldn't make sense, because the placement of Chester's head/chest as it is now seems to make perfect sense for an album cover.

    It says this in the source code: next_time = "2012-04-06 15:00:00 -0500"
does it say this for everyone? if I'm right the -0500 is CST... so it'd fit with 1PM PST yesterday it said 04:30 and sure enough it was available 4:30AM CST (which coincidentally is my time lol) Unless it knows my time zone then I guess the '-0500' would be different for everyone then..
