You americans have screwed up ways of writing your dates
Oh, alright, nothing new or detailed, sorry guys, false hope, back to the puzzle.
I'm thinking 8.4 is just the score the song got when the band was reviewing their material, kind of like Robot Boy had a very similar (if not the same?) score when they were writing songs for A Thousand Suns.
To Death Slayer,
My name is partly Chinese because it refers to Mao Chou (aka Mariah) from Beyblade. She is Chinese and I cosplayed her once, that's where I got the nickname from.
I myself am German, I'm just into anime and Japanese
Oh, and I like riddles (obviously, ha).
Are you guys sure this date is gonna tell us anything?
We aren't sure about anything yet.
He is trying to say: K IS THE KEY!
God bless you! It's a demo song. Guys always rate their songs. It's just an overall score.
BTW hello everyone!
You guys must be right, it's LP's rating. It totally makes sense plus if it would've been a date it would be 8.4. or 8.4.12.
Although that's a plausible idea, I'm kinda on the edge with this, since with the new album they're more free and open-minded and didn't second-guess themselves. So I dunno if they still went with "rating" the songs thing, they could of but I dunno...Mike quote:
As far as I know they could have still rated their work LOL idk.
bumping my own theory. maybe we use the decoded times to get the terminal to play tracks. i don't mind if we dont work on the theory that the numbers are times, but if we aren't gonna work on this, can someone please give me a valid reason why?? because clearly the letters thing is a dead end, and we aren't looking for phrases, we're looking for audio files
It totally makes sense because nobody said LP have changed their method of choosing songs for the album. They would still have to rate songs to see which ones are the best, even if there's none that they don't like at all.
I actually like the time theory.
2 fucking hours to the next pic. I need a coffee.
Yeah, maybe we should stick to the time theory.
GUYS GUYS, can someone tell me what ping is? and if it relates to music because i typed one of the times that i found and it said that there was a failed callback to an audio, and that there is a broken link to ping.chartbeat.net
I don't really see why the letters should be a dead end. If it is an anagram, we will not be able to solve it unless we have at least 14 of the 16 puzzles. This does not mean they make no sense at all.
I'm not sure about the time theory. I think the puzzles themselves have to do with the song snippets because Mike described it that way.
Plus, several people said the terminal does not do anything but auto-solving the puzzles so I don't think we have to use it to get the "easter egg".
That's what leads me to the conclusion that the numbers will tell us a word or phrase that leads to the easter egg.
/Just my opinion
Isnt Ping that Itunes community thing?
Yes it is...
