    Here is the order of the squares as they were released:
    07, 10, 12, 02, 09, 04, 06, 15, 01, 03, 13, 05

    And since we seem to be retreading on speculation I made over 8 hours ago, I'll just post everything again in full.

    -------------------

    Some conclusions based on some Google Doc brainstorming with Rahat, rcm034 and Bliss:

    01. <!--5-3282 3265--> 50017 17 - Q -5 = 12 - L
    02. <!--4-1602 1589--> 40013 13 - M -4 = 9-I
    03. <!--3-1157 1132--> 30025 25 - Y -3 = 22-V
    04. <!--0-0000 0000-->
    05. <!--7-9546-9530--> 70016 16 - P -7 = 9-I
    06. <!--6-1752 1732--> 60020 20 - T - 6 = 14-N
    07. <!--5-3168 3156--> 50012 12 - J - 5 = 7-G
    08. <!--0-0000 0000--> PREDICTION
    09. <!--4-4682 4658--> 40024 24 - X - 4 = 20-T
    10. <!--3-9376 9365--> 30011 11 - K - 3 = 8-H
    11. <!--2-____ ____--> PREDICTION
    12. <!--0-0000 0000-->
    13. <!--7-2029 2008--> 70021 21 - U - 7 = N
    14. <!--6-____ ____--> PREDICTION
    15. <!--0-0000 0000-->
    16. <!--_-____ ____-->

    A few notes:
    08 will be a 0-string. Going on the prediction that the first digit is significant due to descending order (which I had predicted and was proven correct with Piece 05), there's really no choice as the pattern wouldn't allow for consecutive 5-???? ???? or 4.

    We may have to entertain the possibility of the zero-strings not being significant in any way. In quite a few codes, spaces aren't ever actually written down (see: Morse code). The zeros might not mean spaces.

    Unless a skifter is thrown into the deck with piece 16 being a zero string, the youtube video theory is no longer valid. That theory saw the random letter strings as the end of a youtube URL a la an unlisted video; we currently have too many letters for this to be true. Youtube URL strings are 11 letters long and our code is looking to be 12 in total. Again, this could possibly be validated if 11, 14, or 16 end up being zero strings. From there though, the theory is still at risk as youtube URLs also include numbers and dashes.

    The fact that, after the removal of the first digit, the first digits of the two 4-number-strings match is merely redundant information. While yes it is a pattern, it's only so because the numbers would HAVE to be that way in order to get the specific number strings for letters. Piece 02 is different in a way that shows that the digit matching isn't important but rather a side-effect of wanting to get letters specifically.

    If we go with the letter set that everyone seems to think is correct (LIVING), then we're looking at a string like this for piece 11:

    11. <!--2-____ ____--> 20007 or 20011.

    Just taking the end numbers, we'd be looking at G or K. Subtracting the first digit of the string, we're looking at E or I. My reasoning here is that if we are indeed looking at words, E or I are the most likely candidates. We'd then have LIVING THE N__ (Living The Now? Living The New?) or LIVING THIN__ (or something similar).

    I don't think we'll be done when we get all the letters, personally. I feel like there may be one additional step. I'm entertaining the thought that this is in fact an anagram. Whether or not the zero strings (spaces) are a part of the anagram isn't certain in my mind yet.

    Of course, almost everything about would be proven wrong if the descending first digit is entirely coincidence. There's very little chance that this is true, but that little chance is enough for doubt.

    Just some thoughts.

    Is it possible that A=1 is not necessarily true? It would take a lot of guesswork unless we can find some clue (if I'm even getting somewhere at all with this) but could it be that we need to start from B=1, or even Z=1?

    What you're thinking about is a substitution cipher. It's possible, but at that point we jump into a whole 'nother sea of uncertainty.

    I realize that, but I can't find my Secret Decoder Ring that I had to send like 30 goddamn UPCs in to get, so it's going to be a lot harder to actually try this theory out.

    After I posted my TL;DR post the first time, stl22 posted saying that he likes where we're going but doesn't have anything new to contribute.

    Hi guys new to this stuff...

    what I have found...

    all the numbers are in pairs.. and in order

    01. <!--5-3282 3265--> - 5,4,3,0 -- 7,6,5, NA (I'm guessing its a 0) etc..
    02. <!--4-1602 1589-->
    03. <!--3-1157 1132-->
    04. <!--0-0000 0000-->
    05. <!--7-9546 9530--> (new from puzzle 12)
    06. <!--6-1752 1732-->
    07. <!--5-3168 3156-->
    08. <!---->
    09. <!--4-4682 4658-->
    10. <!--3-9376 9365-->
    11. <!---->
    12. <!--0-0000 0000-->
    13. <!--7-2029 2008-->
    14. <!---->
    15. <!--0-0000 0000-->
    16. <!---->

    now i noticed they come in pairs...

    <!--7-2029 2008--> 21 U
    <!--7-9546 9530--> 16 O

    <!--6-1752 1732--> 20 T
    <!--6- -->

    <!--5-3282 3265--> 17 Q
    <!--5-3168 3156--> 12 J

    <!--4-1602 1589--> 13 M
    <!--4-4682 4658--> 24 X

    <!--3-1157 1132--> 25 Y
    <!--3-9376 9365--> 11 K

    <!--0-0000 0000-->
    <!--0-0000 0000-->

    <!--0-0000 0000-->
    <!--0 -->

    2 more pairs to come for the final images -- im guessing its going to be 1 and 2.

    Hope this helps :)

    So, if the next quadrant code begins with 0 or 6, then we should definitely look into this theory more.

    And if the zeros just means zeros? Something like when you're telling your phone number to someone. It's like 3303 (you say Double Three - 'Ow' - Three). If zero means 'O'? I don't know. Doesn't make sense, i guess.

    The second string starting with 7 should be a P instead of an O.

    Now if we apply the letters that people have been working on we would get:

    <!--7-2029 2008--> 21 N
    <!--7-9546 9530--> 16 I

    <!--6-1752 1732--> 20 N
    <!--6- -->

    <!--5-3282 3265--> 17 L
    <!--5-3168 3156--> 12 G

    <!--4-1602 1589--> 13 I
    <!--4-4682 4658--> 24 T

    <!--3-1157 1132--> 25 V
    <!--3-9376 9365--> 11 T

    <!--0-0000 0000-->
    <!--0-0000 0000-->

    <!--0-0000 0000-->
    <!--0 -->

    I don't see anything conclusive there yet but we have yet to see what the other pieces are.

    stl22 said that near the time Linkin Park said he was close. He's right, we were supposed to be able to solve this days ago, so why do we need to keep waiting for the new puzzles? each set of numbers tells us something, i'm convinced

    Been following along, but been out of town. Hopefully I can help. I definitely agree it seems as though something should be decipherable already. Mike's first tweet about all this included the words "Unlock puzzles, hear parts of our new single first." PARTS. I find it hard to believe that they set up this long, tedious puzzle process to add up to a single reward. Even if there is something to come from a combination of all the pieces, I think there's more within different pieces, or sections of pieces, but of course I'm not sure, and I don't know where to start. I think we're getting stuck on this one idea though. Can it not be exercised in other ways within the numbers we have?

    Edit: this is the pic im referring to...

    Anyone notice when looking at the image on the front page of LPA (the "Full Grid Progress" pic) that each "column" has kind of a black line inbetween, but square in the same column dont have black lines between them?

    What I'm getting at is maybe we should look at each column individually.

    (Square numbers)
    1
    5
    9
    13

    2
    6
    10

    3
    7
    11
    15

    4
    8
    12
    16

    Where to go from here is...yea...idk..

    We're sticking to the numbers primarily because that is what stl22 was focused on when LP themselves tweeted that he was getting close.
