Looks like there's only 1 person coming at me for saying I find this to be the bands THP, but I guess you can say that
You're just gonna keep yourself stressed and unhappy if you take every disagreement as a personal attack my dude. It's not good for your mental health. You gotta chill. Is it really worth it? It's ok not to like the album. But you can let people discuss it without being personally offended by us liking it and thinking it's not out of the the ordinary or a step backward for the band. They'll probably make more material you like. Like mentioned, they're making several stylistically different EPs.
At. What. Point. Did. I. Get. Offended. About. Y'all. Liking. The. Album. I explained what I liked and didnt about the album. Then the mention of ATS made me think how this like THP for me. And that confused you because you couldn't make the connection and need to be a contarion. And then called me an ass for defending myself? Ffs dude. And great analysis about my mental health! Thats the exact reason i avoid talking to you anymore! Yet you always gotta reply to me and wont take the hint
I think we're fine Kevin. It's clear this turned into a flame war so let's just steer back to BMTH. I'm not going say anything else on the subject. I want someone to explain to me why this is being called an EP when it's pretty much a full album length. I'm utterly confused.
Same. It crosses the the 30-minute mark. For instance, A Death-Grip On Yesterday from Atreyu is also 9 tracks and only 1 minute longer and its considered and album.
Their last project was around twice as long and received the same EP label. Maybe just a way to separate these projects from their usual album releases?
Would be a near perfect EP if they cut those last 3 tracks. “Dear Diary,” goes SO fucking hard man. Teardrops is super LP, but also really great. Obey has my favorite chorus. Listening to it, you can really tell Mick Gordon produced it, the way it combine metal with electronic flourishes. Sounds a lot lime what he did for Doom 2016 and Doom Eternal, which I really loved.
It's just joke about people being reminded of Linkin Park by some of the new BMTH, especially with Teardrops.
The new song sounds like OML + Meteora + Blink 182 lol, lirycally it's cringy as hell but it's a lot of fun
I mean I wasn't saying it was bad. I'm just remarking on how BMTH stick to their guns and make what they like.
