Introducing a newer pop/punk sound, Bring Me The Horizon has once again reinvented themselves, straying from their deathcore and metalcore roots. 10/29 UPDATE: With Drown being a thing of the past, the band has once again premiered a new track, Don't Look Down (Feat. Orifice Vulgatron), via BBC1. Used as part of Zane Lowe's rescore for the the film "Drive", "Don't Look Down" is another reinvention of the band's sound, exploring a more electronic and post-hardcore style. It can be heard below on the official BMTH soundcloud page https://soundcloud.com/bring-me-the-horizon/dont-look-down
heard the single and have seen the video. video is kind of funny without ruining the surprise. the song itself feels like it could've have been on the album and is poppy in a good bmth kind of way (Sleepwalking) but without the breakdown guitars. the outro however is really post-rocky and epic. gave me goosebumps. i figure the video will be released within the next 7 days.
^I've read that post before. Not sure if same person? Anyway, not checking out the snippets, but I'm hella excited, as seen in user title and signature. I want to know what's up with werewolf Matt. I'm guessing "Exorcism in progress" has something to do with it. As for the album, Jordan confirmed this is a one off single+video. They'll be in the studio in early 2015. I'm guessing a July/August release. Plus they're working on some stuff already.
How'd you hear the single and watch the video? It hasn't even leaked yet according to hastitleaked...
haha, yeah, I posted that on absolutepunk as I figured it might be interesting for some people. The werewolf thing is part of the story of the video. @broman I'm working at an online music video platform in Germany and Sony usually sends out the videos ahead of their release as in case with "Shadow Moses" and now the new single.
It's pure evil to announce this so early, give me all those pics, lyric countdowns... when is this coming?
Oli just said on Twitter that when all the lyrics are released we get the song. We've gotten a lot already. The lyrics seem super lame and generic, but I don't really care. Hopefully he didn't write a symphony, damn.
