This would be so exciting, if I was still 12 years old.

    YES. Finally!

Now please, no more legal problems with the band, Ben.

The front singer should be a huge fan of Tool. Now if they go THAT direction i'm in.
But yeah I used to love their music but not really anymore.

Was this something that was really in demand? I don't know if it was the people I associate with or what, but I don't recall a lot of butthurt when they broke up. More of a general "well that kinda sucks I guess" type o deal. Otherwise I would put this up there with the new Limp Bizkit album. Maybe something cool and interesting will come out of it, but I seriously doubt it.

I think it's safe to say a good number of people have been waiting for this. Hopefully they release more mature material than in previous years, and that they do that with a fresh and vibrant sound. We'll wait and see I guess :p

Posted to BB's Facebook, with the description only saying "3/23/15". New album out on March 23 I guess. Or a single. Something big is going down on 3/23/15 though.

    Same here.

The trailer piece reminds a bit of the intro to "So Cold", it doesn't necessarily feel like they've taken a different approach with their sound this time but we'll see in the coming weeks.

I'm hoping for something new and fresh. The music in the teaser reminds me way too much of something off Phobia. The clean lead with a lot of delay and reverb, the edited staccato dead notes. It's all too familiar. I'm hoping we get stuff that's built on the sort of sound they had in Anthem of the Angels. That's what I consider to be one of their best songs lyrically and instrumentally. Absolute masterpiece.

I hope they don't try to capitalize on the old sound of the band. Fuck that.

They'll be releasing their new single this month and their next album will most likely come out on April or May.

I'd be more excited if the singer didn't sound like a drunk country singer. But that's just me.

But I suppose if he didn't, then they'd just be Skillet. SHOTSFIRED

I didn't even find Breaking Benjamin exciting when I was 10.

An opinion that contributes nothing to discussion. You act as if having a contrary opinion gives you the right to say things without value to the discussion. You don't like BB? Fine. Go about your business and don't bother with the band. But there's no reason to make a point out of it.
