have any of you seen this video yet? this has to be the strangest video i've seen in awhile, very confusing too...the song is catchy as hell too...if you want me to, i can post the video up from Launch so you can see it's crazy effect
Yeah, it is a very strange video....'tis awesome though. I read in an interview somewhere the song is about a boy losing his virginity Makes sense, if you look at the lyrics...
You can tell it's about that... The song is brilliant, so is their album.
I'm getting the album tomorrow! haha
Jesse Lacey said he wrote it after a relationship gone wrong. The video has the most awesome ending ever.
I don't understand the ending. Who in the hell was that guy?? EDIT: I just downloaded the video and I finally understood the ending, it's confusing as hell!!
I don't understand the ending. Who in the hell was that guy?? EDIT: I just downloaded the video and I finally understood the ending, it's confusing as hell!!
In the video, Jesse thinks he can control everyone and tries to take advantage of this girl. In the end, he realizes somebody else is actually controlling him and he slits his throat.
Yeah I finally understood it. It's easier to understand when you see it on Kazaa instead of sh*tty Launch.com EDIT: I think that guy doing the cut throat thing was saying that he was going to kill him and it ended there!
Real awesome video..for some reason, to me, it's more interesting if the video's confusing. yah. this is so messed up....
The dude in the mirror is controlling him, so if he's imitating the guy's actions, it means that he will slit his throat in the end. That's what I read anyway. :wth:
I think the guy slitting his throat is supposed to resemble his concious in a way. Basically what Radical Dreamer said. Go buy Deja Entendu and Brand New's other album Your Favorite Weapon.
Yeah, it took me a while but I finally started to like this song. I first saw this video last weekend and I loved the song immediately. Even on my local rock station, the guy who played it said it was so good that he had to play it again. and I guess I understood what went on in the video too.
