Guitar publication Guitar World has put out their recent interview with the reclusive and mysterious Brad Delson of Linkin Park, following a preview article late last month. The interview touches on the process of crafting Linkin Park's recent studio album From Zero, and the live shows that have unfolded as part of the subsequent album cycle. On readying Alex Feder as a replacement for the live shows: Speaking about choosing the guitars and other gear used on From Zero, Delson cleverly describes Linkin Park's sonic arsenal as "tools in a tool chest": Delson also speaks on his own personal album highlights, "Two Faced" and "Casualty": You can read the full Guitar World interview here. Really good interview! Brad always has a bit of that wit Him calling himself a metalhead was unexpected Also, gotta love him praising Casualty, just like Mike and Colin did. Pure hardcore crossover chaos. May not be their most accessible or melodic or streamed song or whatever, but 200% worth the hype!
I would love them to get Alex officially in as a member, and not only a touring member; he seems so kind and fun. Casualty is so brutal and direct. It blasts.
As a compromise, I've always thought he should at least be in the promo photos where live shows and tours are concerned
First of all, people need to know that Brad is still a member of the band. Alex is the least of our concerns.
