a year ago I put a new dvd drive in my computer and it worked just fine...it was pretty neat. so it's all rockin' n stuff... right so I was messing around in my CPU a few months back and I disconnected and removed the dvd drive and put an old 28gb HD in so I could get some stuff from it. I got the stuff, went to put the dvd drive back, stuck it in and connected everything properly but for some reason whenever I put a disc in it seems like it's trying to read it but then it stops. it goes the whirring sound and then brrrr it like makes a sound that you know means it's not working right, then stops and repeats the process. does it like 3 times. so I was like WTF, tried to fix it, and I even went as far as to switch the levels the dvd drive and cd drive were on in the CPU, but then I connected the cd drive back and FUCK it's doing the same thing! so I can't do anything with CDs on my computer right now. any suggestions? how on earth did I totally fuck them up? and to make things worse, today I got my replacement ipod battery in the mail and I went to put it in and I can't fully close the ipod back properly...I guess everything is not EXACTLY where it needs to be...damn I'm lazy I need to fix try it again. help kplzthx.
I would hope he would, I was lazy this one time and tried to insert a DVD-RW drive whilst the power was on. It's completely dead now. So for future refernce don't do that.
