Even though I'm not a big advocate of remix albums, some of those look promising.

I've already heard the Banquet remix. I like the original better I must say. But, I would love to hear the others. :)

So everyone jumps on Linkin Park's ass for making a remix album, but no one does for Bloc Party?

By the way, who the fuck is Bloc Party?

They're a british indy band. Personally i can't stand them, but you know since when does my opinion matter.

I thought Reanimation was probably Linkin Park's best album.

As for Bloc Party, they're similar to Hot Hot Heat and Franz Ferdinand. Why do I get the feeling you wouldn't like them?

    Because I wouldn't.

And I agree with you about Reanimation.

I remember seeing a Bloc Party performance on David Letterman not too long ago. They were terrible.

My dad likes them for some reason and I think he's going to get their cd. >_<

bloc partys album 'silent alarm' is down right cool. there isnt a duff track on it.

i must admit i saw them live - and they werent the best band i have seen live but hey i dont care. as long as they had the balls to get up on stage and do their own thing, giving 100% that was enough for me.

you should check them out ^_^

try helicopter, like eating glass, banquet, staying fat and little thoughts

Silent Alarm issn't anything phenomenal as a whole. There are a couple of standout tracks, but the reason I like it is that it's one of the first albums for a while that I can listen to end to end without being bored.
