    The second major-label Blindside album, About a Burning Fire, will be released on February 24. The album was produced by Howard Benson and features Billy Corgan on the first single, "Hurray." Other track titles include "Follow You Down," "All of Us," "Swallow" and "Eye of the Storm."

    Former singer of Smashing Pumpkins and current singer of Zwan. It's almost a law to know who Billy Corgan is if you live in Chicago. :p

    =====

    Hmm.. I think Blindside's mediocre. I'll still check out the new album anyway.

    Oh, crap. I hate Smashing Pumpkins and Zwan.

    And, I'm curious. Why do you think blindside is mediocre? They're pretty amazing.

    According to Rolling Stone that song with Billy Corgan is supposed to be excellent.

    Eh, SP has some great stuff but Zwan's just doesn't do it for me.

    I saw them in concert with LP and I guess they just didn't impress me. From what I heard, they're similar to all these other emocore/screamo/etc. bands.

    Well, they're not really all that great live, but their CD Silence is one of the best CDs I own. The lyrics are incredible and the music is awesome.

    Try 1979, wicked song.

    Can't wait for the album, Billy Corgan's a talented vocalist.

    Random thought that really has nothing to do with the topic:

    I think Zwan broke up.

    Try "Caught A Glimpse," "Sleepwalking," "Pitiful," "She Shut Your Eyes," "Time Will Change Your Heart," "Painting," "Midnight" and "Silence."

    Their older stuff is really good as well, but the stuff from Silence is better.

    "The Endings" is one of my faves. Let's just say the whole album rules.

    "King Of The Closet" is a good song.
