Post your experiences, whether funny, awesome, or bizarre, while listening to any Linkin Park song. I'll get the ball rolling: I take walks quite often and usually come into contact with various critters. Some notable funny and awkward moments for me are these: 1. Witnessing a bird mercilessly devour a worm while listening to Wisdom, Justice, and Love. 2. Passing several deer (does, I think) while listening to X-ecutioner Style. 3. Walking past a lone robin while listening to No More Sorrow. I'm sure I will have several more to post soon. For really interesting results, I recommend shuffling your songs if you have an iPod. You just might be surprised what could happen if you have LP mixed with other artists
Today I downloaded Blackbirds for the first time. So I listen to it. And I swear, I FREAKING SWEAR, right when Chester says blackbirds for the first time, we drive by a HUGE group of blackbirds sitting on a phone line. It was really weird/creepy/awesome, and I've never had something like that happen before.
1. I had sex while Crawling was playing once. 2. When I was 15, I listened to Meteora from beginning to end x3 when I hid in my ex-girlfriend's closet. 3. I was playing a game of Warcraft the first time I listened to Minutes to Midnight 4. Had some laced kush after work and found myself compelled to drive around the city while listening to 'A Thousand Suns' last year - I kid you not, it was the greatest fucking thing.
LP helped me through my boring toilet sessions. Nothing's better than taking a relaxing shit and listening to LP at the same time.
All of the above posts were awesome! I have a few more to share: 1. A few days ago, I was listening to songs on shuffle and this order came up: Jornada Del Muerto.....Tinfoil.....X-ecutioner Style Talk about having a nice atmospheric flow suddenly interrupted by a funky, in-your-face mash-up! Keep your experiences coming, folks! Edit: I now have a worthy moment to share with you: Earlier today, I was listening to my iPod on shuffle and experienced one of the funniest transitions/flows yet. I started with two Trans-Siberian Orchestra songs from Night Castle (both were very soft tracks). After listening to "Children of the Night", a song featuring light vocals from altos and sopranos, I suddenly hear Chali from Reanimation talking about "doing the next track"! Then, the infamous "Points and Authority" demo followed! This was one of the most bizarre yet entertaining shuffle moments I have experienced this summer
Sorry for the double post, everyone. I just wanted to bump this thread before it became even more buried. Feel free to share your awesome/funny/bizarre moments while listening to any LP song!
