    Bittorrent.com now offers the ability to search for torrents.
    Your thoughts?

    My newest quick search. Now all I have to type is torrent followed by what I'm looking for in the address bar. :D

    I've had that linked to torrentspy for awhile. Quite handy, makes downloading crap even easier :lol:

    Also have a quicksearch for my college campus peer to peer network, yes, we have our own on campus p2p which is uber fast.

    They can't get shut down. If they get shut down, then Google might as well get shut down too, because you can search for .torrent's with Google as well. Just add filetype:torrent before what you're looking for. ;)

    They don't host the torrents themselves?


    I was under the impression they were. Guess I was wrong.

    Nope. If you search, you'll see it links to an external site. ;)

    the new version of bit torrent (something like 4.0.2) will only let you download one thing a t a time, so dont update to it! unless you like waiting arround......

    Is that the university wide one, or the multi-university Internet2 or whatever. Cause internet2 is now HEAVILY monitored.

    Can you add Quicksearches to firefox? If so, how?

    EDIT: Okay, I figured out how to add them, but how do I remove ones I don't want?
