Billy Joel

What do you guys think of Billy Joel's music?

He's got some really awesome songs: Piano Man, New York State of Mind, Movin' Out, Scenes From an Italian Restaurant.

I saw him live at the Pepsi Arena with Elton John. He was awesome live!

 

I used to like the songs he did for that Disney movie 'Oliver And Co.'

edit: I also liked that thing he did at an awards show where he protested the producers cutting off Frank Sinatra to go to commercial (or was it someone else?) by sitting silently for like a minute wasting millions of dollars of advertising money.

 

Bad thing is.. I heard of him so many times but I have no idea what he sings. :chemist:

 

Do you mean what songs he sings?

 

Haven't hear many of his hits, but I do like the Piano Man and Uptown girl is good too Also, the Billy Joel sketches on SNL are great too.

 

To me, he is just another normal singer.
