    Billboard Top 200 Albums
    Minutes To Midnight - #36 (Last week - #47)
    Billboard Modern Rock Tracks
Shadow of the Day - #4 (Last week - #4)
    Bleed It Out - #8 (Last week - #10)
    Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks
Shadow of the Day - #17 (Last week - #17)
    Billboard Hot 100
Shadow of the Day - #28 (Last week - #29)

"Shadow of the Day" is proving to be a force despite a slow start that had chart watchers wondering if the single would propel sales of Minutes To Midnight.

The single, in addition to holiday sales, helped MTM leap eleven spots to #36 on the Top 200 charts. The track also stayed strong on the Modern Rock and Mainstream Rock charts, staying at last week's position on both charts. Additionally, it jumped one spot to #28 on the Hot 100.

Wow, even Bleed It Out jumped back up.

That's impressive. I like it. Way to go, Linkin Park.

If people are wondering why SOTD isn't seeing much movement on the charts lately, it's because the charts are in the middle of their annual two-week year-end freeze. Stations are playing more holiday music and earlier hits from the year in preparation for year-end countdowns. During this time, songs that are in the middle of climbing the charts either slow down, stall, or move backwards a few spaces. Things get back to normal the second week of January.

REAL nice jump for MTM. That officially puts them over the 2 million mark.

Minutes To Midnights is getting quite a boost during these two weeks. Probably because of Shadow of the Day and holiday sales; though I'm not sure if its more on the former of the latter. But in any case this is good news.

Thanks for the note, and I was about to point out the lack of real progress by Shadow of the Day.

I don't know if it's just my location (or station) but I haven't heard Shadow of The Day on the radio one time. :( If it's like this in other places that might kinda explain why it's not #1. It's such a good song, that's the only logical explanation I can figure out. Simply not enough (or none in some locations) air time.

Yea it's weird how that seems to happen, particular radio stations seem to boycott certain songs.
I know most stations around here played BIO to death, but not the station I listen to. Not once.
Yet they play What I've Done and Shadow Of The Day constantly.
    Go figure aye

I'll be happy if they finish off with NMS and then IP, but it'll probably be LOATR for the final single, which saddens the guitar solo-lover in me. :p

MTM sales 12 million copies worldwide!

I read in Wikipedia that MTM has sold 12 million copies so far. Is it true or it is an exaggeration?:D

Exaggeration. Last I remember MTM sold about 5 million internationally.
