This week's chart placements for "Meteora", "Faint" and "Numb" on the Billboard charts for the week of October 24th-30th are as follows: <div align=center> Billboard Top 100 Albums Charts "Meteora" - #34 (Last Week - #29) Billboard Modern Rock Charts "Numb" - #5 (Last Week - #11) "Faint" - #6 (Last Week - #3) Billboard Mainstream Rock Charts "Faint" - #7 (Last Week - #5) "Numb" - #14 (Last Week - #20)</div> On this week's Billboard charts, "Meteora" slipped five spots to #34 on the Top 100 Albums Charts, while it's third single "Numb" jumped six spots on both the Modern Rock and Mainstream Rock charts. "Numb" landed at #5 and #14 respectively. "Faint" has begun to slip down the charts after a six month stay in the upper half of both the Modern Rock and Mainstream Rock charts. With the huge success of "Numb" this week on the rock charts, you should expect "Meteora" to start rising again within the coming weeks.
six months? whoa. good job requesting LP @ your local radio. though there's probably some evil corporation that controls radio airplay.
i think its because SIB was out for a short time, then faint was out for a long time. if they would've had equal time to shine (while meteora was in stores [SIB was released before the album, duh!] ), it would be in the early 20s still. if that makes sense to anyone :wth:
Linkin Park's Album hasn't really dropped that much. It was released in March and has had a steady flow of album sales. They've reached their core fan base, and with no 'In the End' big single on it's way (From the Inside, although a great track is no 'ITE'. They tried that with 'SIB'), it's going to be hard to get that pop crowd. Over 3 plus million albums sold in North America is pretty damn good, with the downloading a**holes. My only suggestion to help further sales is to be slightly more original and stop with the re-mix and live albums. 'Meteroa' is a strong singles based album with lots of open ends to keep the album thriving for another year and a half. Lets just keep the word alive! Rob
Yeah, but Faint almost had that kind of success, since its been on the charts since the middle of the summer. But since Staind has entered the charts...yeah it's obvious Plus, with Staind's new single coming up being almost the same kind of melodic noise that So Far Away has...Numb better get cracking on the top, or it'll never get there (look at Nickelback's Someday)

Agreed.
I don't think that Stainds new song will be as big as So Far Away. Numb is doing pretty good on the charts. LP should give it some more time before they release FTI.
Yeah I mean I noticed Numb went up the charts actually pretty fast. It didn't really even take that long for it to get on the Billboard Charts.
The "Numb" video was out almost a month in the UK before the US, so I'm thinking the beginning of December will be when the FTI single is released.
