It was a very positive week for Linkin Park releases on the Billboard charts. On the top 200, 'Collision Course' jumped four spots to #4 and 'Meteora' made a surprising seven-spot leap to #79. 'Collision Course' also jumped one spot to #6 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts, while it stayed at the same position for consecutive weeks on the Rap Albums charts (three weeks at #5) and Top Music Videos charts (five weeks at #1). 'Collision Course' sold 134,587 copies this week, bring the total number of units sold to 1,209,845. In another surprising event, 'Hybrid Theory' re-entered the Pop Catalog charts at #17!

"Numb/Encore" continued its tenure on radio airwaves with by standing still on the Hot 100 (#23) and Mainstream Top 40 (#18) charts. The single fell one spot to #15 on the Top 40 charts.

    Thanks in part to PapercutBoy!

I'm thinking that maybe they bought CC, like LP's part of the song, and then bought the album(s).

Either that or because it was the holiday season. ;)

I already said last week that we'll be posting digital stats once every couple of weeks because they're hardly ever updated.
