On The Billboard Top 200, 'Meteora' jumped eight spots to #43 after placing in the bottom half of the top one hundred for the first time last week. In other album news, 'Live In Texas' climbed one spot on the Top Music Video charts, while 'Hybrid Theory' stalled at the #7 spot for a second straight week on the Pop Catalog charts. For singles, "Lying From You" jumped one spot on both the Hot 100 and Modern Rock charts, while it stayed at #6 on the Mainstream Rock tallies. "Numb" continued to fall, diving one spot on the Modern Rock charts, two spots on the Mainstream Rock charts, four spots on the Hot 100, and five spots on the Top 40 Mainstream charts. The single also fell out of the top twenty on the Top 40 charts.
im pretty much thinking that whoever hasnt bought meteora yet isnt going to lol except for the people that will at least keep it in the top 50 or 100 but i dont see it re-entering the top 30
A little too pessimistic there. I think if BTH comes anywhere near the levels that In the End had, Meteora can EASILY climb back into the top ten. Case in point, look at what the single, "My Immortal" has done for Evanescence. It has received good airtime on pop stations (Making "My Immortal" a top-ten hit on Billboard's Hot 100) and even though Evanescence's album has been out for over a year now, with the help of My Immortal and the addition of new fans, Evanescence has been able to average close to 100,000 copies sold per week. Linkin Park hit a stride with "In the End" as it became one of the top selling albums of 2002, even though Hybrid Theory debuted all the way back in late 2000. I think "Breaking the Habit" has a good chance of boosting Meteora to another echleon, and if it does extremely well, Hybrid Theory should have some company in the Pop Catalog charts....
Not so bad, they stopped the drop. Actually, the time between singles should've been like it's right now...
I Think it would be really funny to see LP release Hit The Floor, That would shut all the people up who say Linkin Park have Sold Out.
