I hope he gets better. I was actually hoping for him to run in 2008. I could of swore that there's a loophole for presidents that want to run, but have served two 4 year terms.
Nope, time to get all smart lol. The maximum length a president can serve is 10 years, or 2 full terms. 2 full terms is 8 years. If a president takes office because another president leaves, they can be reelected twice if the period they took over for was half a term (2 years) or less. You can serve 2 separate 4 year terms, like President Cleveland did, but that still takes up the max of 8 years unless you became president when another one left for whatever reason.
That's really too bad. I wish him a complete recovery. And he should totally run for next president if Kerry doesn't do the job (*crosses fingers for Kerry*). That's if the loophole exists.

Clinton deserves to be president. How can you be sober and vote for Bush? My friend has to stay in Iraq for another year (which will probably lead to another year, and so on) because George is too stupid to realize that there is no reason to invade Iraq. What have they done that America hasn't? Maybe instead of putting all our money towards taking over the world, we should try to fix the problems in the US. In my opinion, the United States is a bigger threat to the world than Iraq. Since the moment the plane crashed into the towers, we all assumed it was Osama. Now we're bombing Iraq. Who's next? There's so much terrosim in the world and there are so many countries that could do a lot of damage that we can't do this by ourselves. This is not self-defense, this is bullying. The things we are supposedly fighting have been going on for years upon years. Today is no different than ten years ago. If Bush really cared, he would make sure things were safe in America instead of sending kids overseas. I could go to almost any mainstream concert in the US and do something terrible. Yet, we still defend Bush and believe he is trying to make things better. Bullshit. This is my opinion.
