1. Castle of Glass 2. Waiting for the End 3. The Catalyst 4. Burn It Down 5. One Step Closer This is my top 5..
Castle of glass is now my nr1 favorite. I wish they would make a video where they visited all the sets of the previous videoes.
"From Inside" is the best music video from Linkin Park. ___________________ Listen popular Linkin Park Songs.
"Breaking the Habit" and "Faint" are two of their best videos, I think. "Breaking the Habit" is very moving because of it's strange, dreamy sequences and color palette. I know that sounds pretentious but it's the only way I can explain it. I've never seen a music video like it before. It's probably the band's most memorable video. "Faint" because of it's imagery, pretty much. I will be blatant and just say I like it because it looks great on screen.
"What I've Done" is their best video for me. I love those videos with visuals, but I believe WID is their best video because of its powerful message. It's their video with a different concept, instead of non-stop visual effects, dark ninjas, emo worlds, haunted houses and flying whales. It also shows simplicity, with the band performing in the middle of nowhere. They also utilized imagery and symbolism in many images. As said by MTV's (yes, I occasionally read MTV articles) James Montgomery, it's their "biggest and baddest" video because it clearly shows the dark and sometimes evil nature of man - from Hitler to Gandhi to 9/11 to an obese man eating a cheesburger - and practically begs us to change our ways. Unlike other videos with simolar concepts, such as Daughtry's "What About Now" or Nickelback's kappa "When We Stand Together", where they show bleak images and then images of hope, there is no images of rescue or relief efforts. They're not showing them because instead of showing that others helped them, they were asking "What would YOU do?" And yet we continue to do our evil ways - and the world's fate seems hopeless. This video is a rarity for "I<3SlowMo" Joe Hahn, who made his best piece of work to date. Other than WID, I also like "Breaking the Habit", "Leave Out All the Rest", "Faint", "Waiting for the End" and the interactive version of "Lost in the Echo".
LOATE- because its the only vid featuring the band as characters rather than showing them performing. we need more videos like these.
